Adobe Flash is Said to be Honeycomb Tablet Friendly
Adobe is said to provide Android-supported Flash software within next weeks that can be used in new Google tablet PC – Honeycomb.
Honeycomb is the first tablet PC that adopts Android operating system. However, the original version of the Android OS does not support Flash at all. Verizon, who has being selling the Flash-supported Android products for a while, has said that Flash function will be provided soon this spring.
The vague time makes many people worried that Flash may not be there before the spring. However, according to Adobe official blog, Flash software will definitely be there and even appear a little earlier than the schedule.
Matt Rozen said in the Adobe Flash blog that consumers apparently request Flash support in tablet PC. And the good news is they will not wait for too long! We understand that there will be more than 50 tablet PCs from different brands support comprehensive network experience (including Flash) in 2011. And Xoom users will be the first to enjoy those benefits.
It is said that Adobe Flash Player 10.2 will be downloadable and will be preinstalled in tablet PCs released in 2011. Adobe says, Flash Player 10.2 shall provide dual-core tablet PC and smart phone users with high-definition Flash video, and the video performance will reach 30 frames per second.
